Luke was never gonna get used to calling something a date so he was gonna refer to this evening as just hanging out at the beach with Percy in his head. Right, well, there was obviously something weird going on and since neither Luke or Percy had been affected they decided that avoiding the situation was better than dealing with the weirdos and potentially being forced to wear ugly 80's stuff.
